Meet Bill
I'm Bill Grant, and I know what it feels like to put your own health on hold.
For years, I put my own health on the back burner while caring for the woman I loved. Reclaiming my strength and independence changed my life — and now I help other adults 60+ do the same.

I’m 71 years old, and I’m the founder of Jump Back Into Living.
My journey into this work didn’t begin in a gym. It began with years of neglecting my health, making poor choices, and eventually facing the consequences of the life I was living.
In my forties, I was diagnosed with osteonecrosis, a condition that damaged both my knees, my hip, and my shoulder. Years of unhealthy habits had caught up with me, and for the first time, I had to confront the reality that the way I had been living was costing me my health.
At first, I didn’t change nearly fast enough.
It took me longer than I care to admit to turn my life around. But eventually, I got sober, began rebuilding my health, and committed myself to learning everything I could about fitness, nutrition, and what it really takes to age well. I went on to earn certifications in senior fitness, diabetes exercise, clinical nutrition, and healthy aging — but my most important education came from living through what poor health can cost a person, and what it takes to rebuild.
Then life asked something even more of me.
For nine years, I cared for my wife, Iliana, during her battle with cancer. She was the love of my life, and during those years, my focus was exactly where it needed to be: on her care, her comfort, and being by her side through the hardest chapter of our lives.
But like so many caregivers, I put my own health on hold in the process.
By the time Iliana passed away in 2024, I was grieving, physically run down, and facing serious health challenges of my own, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and other conditions. I had spent years fighting for her life. Now it was time to fight for my own.
That became my turning point.
I began rebuilding my health with a renewed sense of purpose — through better nutrition, walking, strength training, balance work, and a commitment to protecting my independence. Since then, I’ve lost weight, improved my health, reduced pain, and become a living example of what I now help my clients believe:
It is not too late to get stronger.
It is not too late to improve your health.
And it is not too late to reclaim your independence.
That is why I created Jump Back Into Living.
I work with adults 60+ who want to feel stronger, move better, reduce their risk of falling, improve their health, and stay independent for as long as possible. Some are dealing with weight gain, stiffness, balance issues, or chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes. Others are coming out of a season of caregiving, stress, illness, or simply years of putting everyone else first.
What they all have in common is this:
They do not want to give up on themselves.
And neither do I.
What you can expect from me
I won’t shame you.
I won’t hand you a 25-year-old’s workout plan and pretend it fits a 70-year-old body.
I won’t promise magic pills, gimmicks, or unrealistic transformations.
What I will do is meet you where you are, listen to your story, and help you build a realistic plan to get stronger, steadier, healthier, and more confident in your body again.
Because at this stage of life, the goal isn’t perfection.
Private, personalized coaching in the comfort of your own home — designed to help you get stronger, steadier, and more independent with a program built around your body, your health, and your life — I'd be honored to help.
No pressure. Just a conversation about where you are, what you want to improve, and whether I’m the right person to help.
