Programs

Coaching designed to help you stay strong, steady, and independent

Every program at Jump Back Into Living is built around the real goals of healthy aging: improving strength, balance, mobility, confidence, and independence — in a way that fits your body, your health, and the life you want to keep living.

The Path to Independence

Three stages. One direction: firm footing.

Wherever you are right now, there is a next step. We start where your body is today and build toward the kind of independence you want to protect for the years ahead.

Stage 1

The Foundation

Balance and basic mobility work to quiet the fear of falling and restore trust in your own two feet.

  • Stability and balance drills
  • Gentle mobility for stiff joints
  • Confidence on stairs and uneven ground

Stage 2

Functional Vitality

Build the everyday strength to lift grandchildren, carry groceries, and move through your day with ease.

  • Strength for real life
  • Energy and endurance
  • Less stiffness, more capability

Stage 3

The Independent Life

Advanced maintenance for travel, long walks, gardening, and long-term autonomy in your own home.

  • Travel-ready conditioning
  • Ongoing strength upkeep
  • Protecting freedom for the years ahead

Every program below is delivered through 1-on-1 or online coaching, tailored to the stage you're in.

Not sure which program fits? Here's a simple way to think about it.

If you want the most hands-on support at home: 1-on-1 Personal Training may be the best fit.

If you live outside New Jersey or want the flexibility of coaching from home: Online Coaching may be the best fit.

If your main focus is eating habits, weight, energy, or healthier nutrition: Nutrition Planning may be the best fit.

If you're living with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes and want support with both exercise and nutrition: Type 2 Diabetes Support Program may be the best fit.

If you like the idea of working out with peers in a supportive environment: Small Group Training is something I'm currently building for late 2026.

In-Home Coaching · New Jersey

1-on-1 Personal Training

Private in-home coaching for adults 60+

Private, personalized coaching in the comfort of your own home — designed to help you get stronger, steadier, and more independent with a program built around your body, your health, and your life.

Who it's for

This program is for adults 60+ who want individualized support, hands-on coaching, and a safe place to build strength, balance, mobility, and confidence.

It may be a great fit if you:

  • want the privacy and convenience of working out at home
  • feel intimidated by gyms or group fitness classes
  • want exercises tailored to your body, your health history, and your goals
  • are dealing with stiffness, weakness, balance issues, or fear of falling
  • want a coach who watches your form closely and adjusts the plan as your body changes
  • are ready to improve your health, but want to do it in a way that feels safe, realistic, and sustainable

The problem this solves

A lot of adults 60+ know they need to move more and get stronger — but they don't know where to begin, and they don't want to make things worse.

Group classes can move too fast.

YouTube workouts can't tell whether you're doing an exercise safely.

Big-box gyms can feel overwhelming, impersonal, or simply not designed for where your body is right now.

1-on-1 coaching gives you a better option.

Instead of trying to force yourself into a generic fitness program, you get a plan built specifically for you — with the support, guidance, and accountability to help you follow through.

What's included

60-minute private sessions

One-on-one coaching in your home, scheduled around your life and your energy.

A personalized plan built for your body

Your program is designed around your goals, your current fitness level, and any health concerns or limitations you may be dealing with — including balance issues, joint pain, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, stiffness, or a long period of inactivity.

Functional movement, balance, and strength assessment

We start by looking at how your body moves now so we can identify where you need support and create a plan that makes sense for you.

Form coaching and exercise modifications

You won't be left guessing whether you're doing something correctly. I'll coach your form closely, make adjustments when needed, and help you move in a way that feels safe and effective.

Ongoing progress tracking

We'll reassess your progress over time so you can see how your strength, balance, mobility, and confidence are improving in real life.

Support between sessions

If questions come up between sessions, you'll have direct access to me by text or email.

What progress can look like

  1. Weeks 1–4: Build the foundation

We focus on safety, trust, consistency, and learning the movements that will support your strength, balance, and confidence.

  2. Weeks 5–12: Start feeling stronger in everyday life

You may begin noticing improvements in walking, climbing stairs, getting up from chairs, carrying groceries, and moving through the day with more confidence.

  3. Months 3–6: More strength, more stability, more momentum

Your body begins to adapt. You may notice better balance, more energy, less stiffness, improved endurance, and a growing sense that your body is becoming more capable again.

  4. Months 6–12: Protecting independence for the years ahead

At this stage, the goal is not perfection. The goal is to keep building the strength, steadiness, and confidence that help you stay active, capable, and independent in your everyday life.

Why clients choose 1-on-1 coaching

Because they want more than a workout.

They want:

  • guidance that meets them where they are
  • coaching that respects an aging body instead of fighting against it
  • a plan built around real life, not a generic template
  • support from someone who understands the physical and emotional realities of getting older
  • a safer, more personal way to rebuild strength and confidence

Ready to get stronger, steadier, and more independent?

Private, personalized coaching in the comfort of your own home — designed to help you get stronger, steadier, and more independent with a program built around your body, your health, and your life — I'd be honored to help.

ONLINE COACHING · WHEREVER YOU ARE

Online Coaching

Personalized fitness coaching for adults 60+

Work with Bill from the comfort of home through live coaching, a personalized exercise plan, and ongoing support designed to help you get stronger, move better, and stay independent — wherever you live.

Who it's for

Online coaching is a great fit for adults 60+ who want personalized guidance, accountability, and a plan built around their body — with the flexibility of working from home.

It may be right for you if you:

  • live outside the state of New Jersey
  • spend part of the year in another state
  • want expert guidance without commuting to a gym
  • feel comfortable exercising at home with guidance, structure, and support
  • want a program tailored to your health, goals, and current ability level
  • need accountability and structure, but also flexibility around travel, family, or a busy schedule

The problem this solves

A lot of online fitness programs are built around generic templates, fast-paced workouts, or coaches who don't really understand what it means to work with an aging body later in life.

That's not what this is.

Online coaching with Jump Back Into Living gives you a program designed specifically for you — your strength, your balance, your mobility, your health concerns, and the goals that matter most in your daily life.

It's a way to get expert support and personalized coaching without having to leave home.

What's included

Live 1-on-1 coaching sessions

Meet with Bill by video on a weekly or every-other-week basis for personalized coaching, guidance, and accountability.

A customized exercise plan

Your workouts are built around your body, your goals, your available equipment, and any health conditions or limitations you may be managing.

Easy-to-follow coaching app

You’ll receive your plan in an easy-to-use app that makes it simple to know what to do, track your progress, and stay consistent between sessions.

Form feedback and exercise support

If you have questions about how an exercise feels or whether you’re doing it correctly, you can send videos and questions between sessions so I can help make adjustments when needed.

Ongoing check-ins and accountability

We'll stay in touch about your progress, your consistency, and how your body is responding — including strength, balance, mobility, energy, and lifestyle habits.

Direct access to Bill

You'll have direct messaging support so you don't feel like you're doing this alone.

What progress can look like

  1. Weeks 1–2: Get set up and build your plan

We start with an initial conversation and assessment so I can understand your goals, your health history, and how your body is moving right now. From there, I build your first program and walk you through exactly how to use it.

  2. Weeks 3–8: Build consistency and confidence

You begin settling into a routine, learning the exercises, and building trust in your body again. This is often where the first wins start to show up — more energy, more confidence, and the feeling that you're finally doing something that fits you.

  3. Months 3–6: Real progress in strength, mobility, and health

As your body adapts, you may begin noticing improvements in strength, balance, endurance, mobility, energy, and overall confidence. This is where healthy habits begin turning into momentum.

  4. Ongoing: A program that evolves with you

Life changes. Energy changes. Bodies change. Your coaching plan should change with them. As you progress, we continue adjusting your program so it supports where you are now and where you want to go next.

Why clients choose online coaching

Because they want more than an app and more than a generic workout plan.

They want:

  • expert guidance without having to travel
  • a plan tailored to their body, health needs, and goals
  • accountability and encouragement from someone who understands healthy aging
  • flexibility for travel, seasonal living, or a changing schedule
  • support that helps them stay consistent and keep moving forward

Ready to work together from home?

If you want personalized coaching, a clear plan, and ongoing support — all from the comfort of home — online coaching may be the perfect fit.

STANDALONE OR COACHING ADD-ON

Nutrition Planning

A realistic way of eating for adults 60+ who want more energy, better health, and the strength to stay independent

Nutrition Planning at Jump Back Into Living is not about strict dieting, perfection, or chasing the latest food trend. It’s about building a way of eating that supports your energy, your strength, your blood sugar, your weight, and your long-term health — in a way that fits your body, your lifestyle, and your real life.

Who it’s for

Nutrition Planning is a great fit for adults 60+ who want support with:

  • weight loss or weight management
  • blood sugar support and healthier eating habits
  • improving energy and reducing the afternoon crash
  • eating in a way that supports strength, mobility, and healthy aging
  • simplifying nutrition after years of confusion, conflicting advice, or fad diets
  • building a realistic plan that fits medications, preferences, routines, and everyday life

The problem this solves

A lot of people know they need to eat better — but they’re overwhelmed by conflicting advice and tired of trying things that don’t last.

One plan says cut carbs.

Another says eat every two hours.

Another says buy a shelf full of powders, supplements, and expensive “health” foods.

The result is frustration, inconsistency, and the feeling that healthy eating is harder than it needs to be.

Nutrition Planning at Jump Back Into Living is designed to simplify that.

Instead of giving you another rigid diet, I help you build a sustainable way of eating that supports your body, your health goals, and the life you actually live.

What’s included

A deep-dive nutrition session

We begin with a full conversation about your current eating habits, health goals, medical considerations, lifestyle, preferences, and the challenges that have made healthy eating difficult up to this point.

A personalized eating framework

Rather than handing you a one-size-fits-all meal plan, I help you build a flexible structure for eating that fits your life and gives you a clear path forward.

Guidance around meals, groceries, and everyday choices

We’ll work through the practical side of eating well — including grocery choices, meal ideas, portion awareness, and simple strategies that make healthy eating easier to maintain.

Support for blood sugar, weight, and healthy aging goals

If your goal is to lose weight, support healthier blood sugar levels, reduce cravings, or improve your energy and overall health, your nutrition plan will be built with those priorities in mind.

Supplement considerations when appropriate

When appropriate, we can also discuss simple supplement considerations as part of the bigger picture of your nutrition and health goals.

Ongoing accountability and adjustments

Nutrition is not one decision — it’s a process. As your routine, health, and goals evolve, we can make changes so your plan continues to support you.

What progress can look like

  1. Weeks 1–4: Simplify and create momentum

We focus on the low-hanging fruit — the habits, patterns, and food choices that can make the biggest difference right away. The goal is to reduce overwhelm and give you a plan you can actually follow.

  2. Weeks 5–12: Build consistency and confidence

As new habits begin to settle in, healthy eating starts to feel more manageable and less all-or-nothing. This is often where people begin noticing better energy, more control around food, and progress toward weight or blood sugar goals.

  3. Months 3 and beyond: Turn healthy eating into a lifestyle

The goal is not to stay “on a plan” forever. The goal is to create a way of eating that feels sustainable, supports your health, and becomes part of how you care for yourself moving forward.

Why clients choose nutrition planning

Because they don’t want another diet.

They want:

  • a realistic plan they can actually live with
  • support for weight loss, blood sugar, energy, and long-term health
  • guidance from someone who understands the connection between nutrition, healthy aging, and independence
  • a simpler, more sustainable way to eat well
  • accountability and support without shame, guilt, or extremes

Looking for a more realistic way to eat well?

If you want nutrition support that feels practical, sustainable, and built around your real life — not another fad diet or set of rigid rules — I’d be honored to help.

Type 2 Diabetes Support Program

Personalized coaching for adults 60+ who want to support healthier blood sugar, build sustainable habits, and take back control of their health

This program combines fitness coaching, nutrition planning, and ongoing accountability to support adults 60+ living with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes. The goal is to help you build healthier habits that support your strength, energy, weight, activity level, and blood sugar management through realistic lifestyle changes that fit your real life.

Because I’ve dealt with my own health challenges, including type 2 diabetes, I understand how frustrating and overwhelming it can feel to change your habits later in life — and how meaningful those changes can be when you finally have the right support.

Who it’s for

This program is designed for adults 60+ who:

  • are living with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes
  • want to support healthier blood sugar through better nutrition, movement, and consistency
  • are ready to make lifestyle changes that support weight loss, energy, and overall health
  • want guidance from someone who understands both exercise and nutrition in the context of aging
  • are looking for a realistic, supportive plan they can actually stick with
  • want to work alongside their doctor while improving daily habits that support their health

The problem this solves

Many adults with type 2 diabetes are told to “eat better and exercise,” but they’re rarely given a practical plan that brings those pieces together in a way that fits their body and their life.

Some coaches understand exercise, but not blood sugar.

Some nutrition professionals focus on food, but not strength, mobility, or consistency.

And many people are left trying to figure it out on their own while dealing with fatigue, cravings, weight gain, confusion, and discouragement.

This program is designed to bridge that gap.

At Jump Back Into Living, I help you combine movement, nutrition, accountability, and healthy aging strategies into one realistic plan built around your goals, your needs, and your daily life.

What’s included

Coaching through either 1-on-1 Personal Training or Online Coaching

This program can be delivered through in-home personal training in Bergen County or through online coaching if you live elsewhere or prefer to work from home.

Diabetes-aware exercise programming

Your exercise plan is built with your age, fitness level, mobility, and any physical limitations or health considerations in mind — with a focus on improving strength, balance, activity levels, and consistency in a way that supports blood sugar management and healthy aging.

Nutrition planning for blood sugar and weight support

We’ll build a realistic eating strategy designed to support blood sugar, reduce overwhelm, improve energy, and help you make steady progress without relying on fad diets or extremes.

Ongoing accountability and weekly check-ins

We’ll stay in touch about your progress, consistency, energy, eating habits, and how your body is responding so your plan can be adjusted as needed.

Support you can bring back to your doctor

As you make progress, you’ll have a clearer picture of the changes you’re making and how they may be affecting your energy, weight, and blood sugar — which can help support productive conversations with your doctor about your care.

What progress can look like

  1. Weeks 1–4: Build the foundation

We focus on consistency, simple nutrition changes, movement that feels manageable, and creating a plan that fits your life. The goal is to reduce overwhelm and start building momentum.

  2. Weeks 5–12: Improve habits, energy, and confidence

As your routine becomes more consistent, you may begin noticing improvements in energy, appetite control, strength, weight, and how you feel day to day. This is often where people begin to feel more hopeful and more in control of their health.

  3. Ongoing: Support healthier blood sugar and long-term health

Over time, the goal is to create sustainable habits that support healthier blood sugar management, improved strength and mobility, healthier weight, and greater confidence in your ability to care for yourself well.

Why clients choose this program

Because they want more than vague advice to “eat better and exercise more.”

They want:

  • a plan that brings together fitness, nutrition, and accountability
  • support from someone who understands aging, blood sugar, and real-life habit change
  • a practical path to healthier habits without guilt, shame, or extremes
  • a way to feel stronger, more energized, and more in control of their future
  • coaching that supports their health goals while working alongside their doctor’s care

Looking for support with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes?

If you’re ready to build healthier habits, support your blood sugar, and work toward a stronger, healthier future — I’d be honored to help.

Small Group Training

A supportive small-group coaching option for adults 60+ who want strength, structure, and community

I’m currently developing a small-group training program for adults 60+ who want the encouragement of working alongside peers, the structure of expert coaching, and a program built around strength, balance, mobility, and independence.

This offering is planned for late 2026 and is being designed for older adults who want a more social, supportive, and affordable alternative to one-on-one coaching — without losing the safety, personalization, and encouragement they need.

Who it’s for

This program is being designed for adults 60+ who:

  • enjoy the motivation and accountability of training with others
  • want age-appropriate coaching in a welcoming, non-intimidating environment
  • are looking for a more affordable option than private coaching
  • want to improve strength, balance, mobility, and confidence
  • like the idea of building healthier habits alongside people in a similar stage of life

What this program will be built to support

The goal of Small Group Training will be the same as everything I do at Jump Back Into Living: helping adults 60+ stay active, capable, and independent for as long as possible.

Sessions will be designed to support:

  • more strength for everyday life
  • improved balance and confidence
  • more mobility and less stiffness
  • safer movement and reduced fear of falling
  • consistency, accountability, and community

What I’m building

I’m currently exploring studio space in Bergen County with the goal of launching a small-group training option by the end of 2026.

My goal is to create a space that offers:

  • small, supportive groups for adults 60+
  • expert coaching in a safe, age-appropriate environment
  • programming focused on strength, balance, mobility, and functional movement
  • a welcoming space where adults 60+ can work on their health without feeling out of place, rushed, or left behind

Interested in Small Group Training when it opens?

If Small Group Training sounds like something you’d be interested in, I’d love to know. I’m building this program with real adults 60+ in mind, and if it sounds like a fit for you, I’d be happy to keep you updated as it takes shape and let you know when spots become available.

Not sure where to start? We can figure that out together.

If you know you want to get stronger, improve your balance, take better care of your health, or stay independent for as long as possible — but you’re not sure which program makes the most sense — that’s okay.

We can talk through where you are right now, what you’d like to improve, and which coaching option would be the best fit for your goals, your body, and your life.
